F1RSTGEN: Support for First-Generation Students
F1RSTGEN is a student-led organization who works to encourage and support first-generation college students at West Texas A&M University. F1RSTGEN promotes the academic success and retention among its students by providing a family oriented environment where students feel comfortable in seeking assistance, celebrating being first-generation, and participating in events on and off campus. 
Gender Studies Program
The Gender Studies Program is designed to allow students the opportunity to explore constructions of gender and sexuality, both historical and contemporary, across a variety of disciplinary fields. 
Forensics
Forensics is a nationally competitive squad focused on the American Forensics Association National Speech Tournament, competing on regional and national levels in individual events, such as Informative Speaking and Persuasive Speaking, among others.
The Prairie News
The Prairie News is the WTAMU digital newspaper with content reported, edited, and produced entirely by students. The TPN student journalists and the publication play a vital role in informing the WT community about campus events, serving as a check to the administration, and sharing campus stories. 
The Eternal Flame
The Eternal Flame is a magazine published by West Texas A&M University.
