Professional Profile
Angelo joined the Department of Theatre in 2018. He received a B.S. in Technical Theatre from the University of Wisconsin in Green Bay, and an MFA in Technical Theatre - Lighting Design from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Teaching and Related Service
Angelo teaches Scene Design, Theatre Lighting Design, Lighting Technology, Fundamentals of Design, and Rendering.
Angelo is a member of USITT (United States Institute of Theatre Technology) and serves on the Lighting Commission as the Co-Vice Commissioner for the Lighting Studio where he is charged with creating educational projects that give students and visitors the hands-on opportunity to interact with the latest in Lighting Technology while expanding their knowledge at the same time.
Research and Creative Activity
Angelo’s research interests include the History of Scenic and Lighting Design, Video Projection and Animation, and he History of Film with an emphasis in Film Noire.
