Professional Profile
Dr. Williams joined the Department of Agricultural Sciences in 2009. He received a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Agriculture (Teacher Certification) from Texas Tech University in 1997, an M.S. and Ed.D. in agricultural education from Texas Tech University in 1998 and 2007, respectively.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Williams teaches agricultural education as well as leadership courses for the Department of Agricultural Sciences. He also holds an appointment with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension as a specialist in teaching methods.
Dr. Williams is a member of the American Association of Agricultural Education (AAAE), and an associate member of Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas (ATAT). He also serves as the advisor for the WTAMU Collegiate FFA Alumni chapter.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Williams research interests include youth development in agricultural organizations, formal and informal teaching methodologies, and collegiate recruitment and retention of students.
