West Texas A&M University offers approximately $8 million in scholarships each year to new and current students. The average scholarship award is $1,500 per year, recognizing students for their academic achievements, leadership skills, and unique talents. Financial need may also play a role in eligibility.

Learn More About Buff PromiseDecember 1st is the early action date for incoming freshman. Students who have submitted the required information upon admission will be awarded no later than May 1st. The priority date is February 1st to complete the scholarship application. After this date, departmental scholarships will start being awarded. Scholarships are awarded based on availability of funds.

Summer Scholarships
Awards for undergraduate students for the summer are made based on the availability of funds. Contact Scholarship Services beginning in April to get your name on the list.
