Professional Profile
Dr. Robertson joined the Department of Agricultural Sciences in 2011. He received a B.A. in mass communications from West Texas A&M University in 2002, an M.S. in agricultural education from Texas Tech University in 2003 and a Ph.D. in agricultural education from Oklahoma State University in 2009.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Robertson teaches agricultural media and communication courses as well as leadership and education courses for the Department of Agricultural Sciences.
Dr. Robertson is a member of the Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education (AIAEE), the North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA), the American Association of Agricultural Education (AAAE), and the Association for Communication Excellence in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Life and Human Sciences (ACE) where he serves as the Vice President for the international special interest group. He also serves as the advisor for the WTAMU Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT) chapter.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Robertson’s research interests include curriculum and student development, and risk communications in agriculture.
