Professional Profile
Amy Newton starts her 7th year as a member of the Paul Engler College of Ag and Natural Sciences staff. She serves as the Business Administrator for the College. Newton began her WTAMU career in the College of Agricultural Sciences in 2018 before transferring to the Dean’s Office in 2024.
Amy and her husband Brent reside in Amarillo and have one son, Rodey and daughter-in-law, Jaci. Rodey is a 2017 graduate of WTAMU Ag Sciences. Rodey and Jaci currently live in New York where Rodey is a Vice President for Capital One.
In her spare time she loves to travel with family and play in her yard. Amy and Brent are members of St. Stephen Church in Amarillo.
