Professional Profile
Dr. Baker joined the Paul Engler College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences in 2023. She received a B.S. in Animal Science in 2018 from Texas A&M University. She also completed a Ph.D. in Animal Breeding from Texas A&M University in 2022.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Baker teaches undergraduate Genetics and she is a member of the American Society of Animal Science.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Baker’s research interests include beef cattle genetics and the interaction between the environment and genetics, particularly in the realm of epigenetics and transcriptomics.

Dr. Baker is originally from central Texas and enjoys riding horses, spending time outside, and reading.
