1.9 | Student Drop Procedure

1.9.A | If a faculty member charges a student in one of their classes with a violation of the Academic Integrity Code (AIC) and the student drops the class before the issue has been resolved, the faculty member may submit a grade change at the end of the semester to the Registrar's Office changing the student grade from "X" to "XF", and indicating that the change is due to a violation of the Academic Integrity Code. This may only occur when the faculty member determines that the appropriate penalty for the AIC violation is a failing grade in the class.
