Professional Profile
Dr. Miller joined the department in 2024. She earned a Doctorate in Social Work from the University of Kentucky in 2024, a Master of Science in Social Work from WTAMU in 2018, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from WTAMU in 2013.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Miller's areas of focus are clinical social work, curriculum and pedagogy, and theories of human behavior and social functioning. She teaches social research, human behavior in the social environment, and direct practice courses. She is involved in several local organizations aimed at improving the community and profession of social work.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Miller was selected to participate in the National Conference on DSW Education and Social Work hosted by the University of Alabama and presented on ADEI in Social Work Education: Implications for Curriculum and Pedagogy.
