Professional Profile
Dr. Moeller received a B.S. in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin, a Master’s of Political Science from San Diego State University, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Georgia. Outside of political science, Dr. Moeller teaches in the Emergency Management Administration program and is the West Texas A&M Pre-Law Advisor.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Moeller’s focus areas within Political Science are public law and American political development. Specifically, Dr. Moeller teaches Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Judicial Process, Political Thought, American Political Thought and Development, Research Methods, and Principles of Emergency Management.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Moeller’s research centers on civil rights, voting rights, and American political development. He has authored several articles and a book focusing on enfranchisement in early America. His current projects focus on populism, nativism, and immigration policy in the 1850s.
