University Research Alliance
University Research Alliance administered the Innovations in Nuclear Technology R&D Awards for the Department of Energy for 13 years. Prior to administering the Innovations Awards program, University Research Alliance administered the Advanced Fuel Cycle Initiative University Fellowship Program and the Russian Academic Program in Nonproliferation and International Security.

Cathy DixonCathy Dixon is the Assistant Director of University Research Alliance. She has been with the University Research Alliance since 1996, and served as Director from 2004 to 2015. A communications specialist, Ms. Dixon is the author of “Gifted and at Risk” and has presented at numerous Radioactive Waste Management Conferences and American Nuclear Society meetings. In her role with the Office of Nuclear Energy, she has worked with hundreds of students studying in areas related to nuclear technology. |
