Is an IRB Review Required?
Use the IRB determination flowchart to establish the need for an IRB review. - All research involving human subjects at West Texas A&M University must be reviewed by the IRB.
(This includes research that may be classified as exempt).
- A quick read of the Belmont Report and a scan of the federal regulations, the WTAMU IRB rules and procedures, and the IRB Manual will provide a foundation for your overall research endeavors.
