Our Homeschool Student College Admission Process
West Texas A&M University homeschooling families, we can be a positive option now and in the future.
As a regionally accredited university, WT is committed to offering a world-class education — and to helping students of all backgrounds thrive in college and beyond. WT can help you make a smooth transition from homeschool to the University. From scholarships to dual enrollment, WT offers great opportunities and college experiences to all students.
We offer an outstanding faculty to student ration of 20:1, meaning you won’t experience large classes where you are just a number. We also boast a robust campus life experience, with learning communities in our residence halls, ample opportunities for service and leadership through campus civic, leadership, and faith-based organizations, and the safest campus in Texas, and one of the safest in the United States.

WT's Application Requirements for Homeschoolers
Our college requirements for homeschoolers are the same as those for students attending public or private school. However, there are some unique guidelines for submitting transcripts and other documentation.
For homeschooled students, a self-reported transcript that demonstrates completion of a high school equivalent curriculum is accepted.
