Freshman Requirements for Admission:
- High School Class Rank - Top 30% OR
- 3.0 Cumulative High School GPA (4.0 Scale) OR
- 21 ACT Composite Score OR 1060 SAT Composite Score
All other freshman applicants will be reviewed by committee.
Note: Transcripts and test scores are both required to be considered for competitive scholarship awards.

Additional Items For Enrollment
You may be required to submit additional documentation for enrollment. These items are not needed for an admissions decision, but may be required before registering for classes.
- TSI Scores or Proof of Exemption
- Proof of Meningitis Vaccination
- College Transcripts (if applicable)

Unofficial Transcripts may be faxed to 806-651-5285 or emailed as PDF to admissions@wtamu.edu . Documents submitted by fax or email are considered unofficial. Final, official transcripts will be required to complete your admissions file.

Students under the age of 22 and entering a higher education institution are asked to receive a vaccination against bacterial meningitis by Texas Law. Certain criteria may exclude students from the requirement, please contact the Admissions Office at 806-651-2020 for information.
