Professional Profile

Mrs. Robinson joined the College of Nursing and Health Science in 2007. She received a B.S. in Nursing from West Texas State University in 1990, and an M.S. in Nursing from West Texas A&M University in 2013.

Teaching and Related Service

Mrs. Robinson teaches the Capstone course and the freshman seminar course for nursing. She also manages the simulation lab.

Mrs. Robinson is the author of "Simulation as a Means to Increase Perception of Confidence in Interprofessional Collaboration for Undergraduate Nursing Students." She has coauthored four publications and has presented this research at several national and international conferences.

Mrs. Robinson is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the nursing honor society; Society for Simulation in Healthcare, SimGhosts, and International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning. She also serves as an adviser for the College of Nursing, the Nursing Student Association and the Wesley Foundation.

Research and Creative Activity

Mrs. Robinson’s research interests include simulation in nursing, utilizing mentoring within nursing cohorts, and the concept of the "flipped classroom" at the collegiate level.
