Foreign Credential Evaluation Services

Submitting a Foreign Credential Evaluation

Permanent residents and U.S. domestic applicants who have attended institutions outside of the United States will need to submit an official Foreign Credential Evaluation. A Foreign Credential Evaluation is a review of your academic documents (transcripts, graduate certificates, exit exam, scores, etc.) to provide U.S. equivalency. Your grade point average (GPA) will also be converted to a 4.0 point scale.

General Instructions

  1. Select one of the university approved agencies listed below and visit their website. Each evaluation agency has a process for completing an evaluations. PLEASE NOTE: Name of required report is listed under each agency.

  2. Submit required documents to Foreign Credential Evaluation Agency and request the required report type listed for that agency. Documents required may vary by agency and country. Please contact the agency you have selected from the list below and verify what documents are required.

  3. Request a copy of the "Evaluation Report" to be mailed by the agency to West Texas A&M University to the below address:
