4.25 | Hall Sports

4.25.A | Hall sports are prohibited within the residence halls. Hall sports are defined as activities involving projectiles, sticks, rackets, rope, or miscellaneous sports equipment inside the residence halls. 

4.25.B | Darts and Dartboards: Due to the potential danger to both persons and property, darts and dartboards are prohibited in the residence halls, without permission from the Director of Residential Living, or designee.

4.25.C | Projectiles: For reasons of health and safety, propelling devices such as rockets, paint guns, water balloons and launchers, catapults, slingshots, or any homemade devices for the purpose of launching an object are prohibited. Objects may not be thrown into or out of windows, or off of balconies.

4.25.D | Rappelling: Rappelling off of any university building is prohibited.

4.25.E | Running or Roughhousing: Residents must refrain from running, rollerblading, skateboarding, skating, roughhousing, scuffling, use of scooters, use of motorized vehicles, throwing, bouncing, or kicking of objects in the halls, stairwells, and other common areas. 

4.25.G | Water Fights: Water fights, water balloons, water guns, or any activities historically associated with water fights (throwing mud, rocks, or use of scalding water) are not allowed in or near the residence halls. Water shall not be thrown inside the hallways, onto or from balconies, stoops, or windows. Additionally, instigating or participating in such activities could result in disciplinary and billing for damages.
