Career Outcomes
Additional Data and Resources
The Salary Survey is a report that lists graduates' first destination outcomes. The information is gathered from several sources and methodologies which includes data obtained directly from: 1) the student when they apply for graduation; 2) the student when they communicate their post-graduation plans with staff or faculty; 3) the graduate when they respond to a survey sent to them up to one year after graduation. The time frame for gathering first destination data begins prior to a student's graduation when Career and Professional Development is made aware of a student's post-graduation plans and continues to be collected up to one year after graduation. Disclaimer: The data does not include first destination outcomes for all graduates. It is representative of the population for whom outcomes were available.

Post-Secondary Employment Outcomes is an experimental data product from the US Census Bureau containing earnings outcomes and employment flows for recent graduates of partner colleges and universities. These statistics are generated by matching university transcript data with a national database of jobs. Only graduates who earn at least the annual equivalent of full-time work at the prevailing federal minimum wage and work three or more quarters in a calendar year are included.
Earnings outcomes for graduates from a particular institution are available by degree field, degree level, and graduation cohort. The 25th, 50th, and 75th percentiles are released for one, five, and 10 years after graduation. Employment Flows provide counts of graduates from a particular institution to the geographic location and/or industry of their main employer. Flows are available by degree field, degree level, and graduation cohort and are released for one, five, and 10 years after graduation.
