“Derivatives in Declining Air Quality and Respiratory Health in the Texas Panhandle: The Ramifications of Aeroallergen Pollution, Climate Change, and Local Wildfires”

While the causes of certain diseases like asthma remain unclear, various studies have identified a clear link between allergen exposure and coexisting factors to exacerbating symptoms. Fluctuating air quality in the Texas Panhandle has significantly affected respiratory and allergic diseases. Rising greenhouse gases also play a role in diseases, such as the appearance of pollinosis, and fungal spore production has become habitual. As a result of increasing greenhouse gases, climate change and frequent wildfires have further deteriorated air quality by releasing pollutants that worsen the effects of aeroallergens. Global warming also affects flora and fauna, which has also increased the spread of allergens. These factors highlight the urgent need for comprehensive strategies to mitigate environmental and health impacts, such as monitoring air quality, enforcing public health initiatives, and utilizing proper air purification.
