WTAMU Foundation Endowment Policy

A gift to create an endowment provides a legacy at West Texas A&M University. An endowment can be established with a gift of $25,000 or more payable in installments. Gifts to establish endowments:

  • Are irrevocable and deposited as endowment principal.
  • Are invested with The Texas A&M University System Endowment.
  • Generate an annual payout once the endowment reaches the minimum endowment amount of $25,000.
The WTAMU Foundation designates a determined percentage of the fair market value of the endowment to be allocated annually to provide for operation of the endowment and infrastructure support necessary to sustain the endowment and the endowment purposes.
