Professional Profile
Love joined the Department of Agricultural Sciences and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in a split appointment in 2007. She earned dual applied associate degrees in equine science and horse science technology in 2002 from Black Hawk College. She received a B.S. in agri-business/equine industry and business from West Texas A&M University in 2005 and a M.S. in agriculture from West Texas A&M University in 2007.Teaching and Related Service
Love is an instructor in animal science, teaching courses in Western Horsemanship, Advanced Western Horsemanship, Hunt Seat Equitation and Introductory to Jumping and Equine Behavior Modification.Love is the head coach of the women’s equestrian team at WTAMU specializing in hunt seat and western competition.
She is a member of the Equine Science Society and serves on the board of directors for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association as a regional president and is a Certified Horsemanship Association board member.
Love is also an advisor for the Horsemen’s Association and Stock Horse Team on campus.
