English Proficiency Requirements

Applicants who are citizens of the following countries will be exempt from the English proficiency requirement.

Applicants who attended an institution in one of the following countries may be exempt from English proficiency pending a review of transcripts.

If the language of instruction at your current or most recent school is 100% English you may have the school send a letter of English proficiency to WT directly.  The letter must be sent directly to us by the school and must state that the language of instruction is 100% in English.  The letter must be issued and sent to us by the Registrar's Office or equivalent.

To be considered official, the document must be one of the following: 

• sent via school-issued email from the appropriate school official
• sent via physical mail in a signed/sealed envelope

Minimum Score Requirements:

• Undergraduate: TOEFL 74 iBT
• Graduate: TOEFL 79 iBT

• Graduate: score of 6.5 overall band
