Meeting and Conference Rooms

The JBK Student Center offers many different options for hosting events on campus. Whether it's a small meeting for your organization or a large-scale event, we are here to help. University - Reserve a Space

Commons Area

Being a major gathering area within the JBK, the commons area can be reserved for exhibitor tables and special evening events. Seating capacity for events in the commons is approximately 50 with plenty of room for others to stand and listen.

Legends Club

The Legends Club is a great place to study, meet, or simply hang out. It is open to all faculty, staff and students during regular hours. This area is perfect for events open to the public and larger receptions. Legends has seating capacity for 90 people.

Buff Branding Room

The Buff Branding Room has a capacity of 40 and has the ability for multiple types of set-ups. Podium, dry erase board and smartroom technology are available.

West Texas Room

The West Texas Room has a capacity of 48 and has the ability for multiple types of set-ups. Podium, dry erase board, and smartroom technology are available

Maroon Room

The Maroon Room has a capacity of 50 and has the ability for multiple types of set-ups. Podium, dry erase board, and smartroom technology are available.

White Room

The White Room has a capacity of 38 and has the ability for multiple types of set-ups. Podium, dry erase board, and smartroom technology are available.

Thunder Room

The Thunder Room has a capacity of 95 and has the ability for multiple types of set-ups. Podium, dry erase board, and smartroom technology are available.

Eternal Flame Room

Conference style seating with a capacity of 45. Podium and 70in HDTV perfect for meetings and small presentations.

Senate Chamber

The Senate Chamber is multi-tiered room with a capacity of 58. Power receptacles are available throughout the room. Podium, dry erase board, and smartroom technology are available.

Hazel Kelley Wilson Room

A very beautiful space, the Hazel Kelley Wilson Room is a great dining room with seating up to 24. This room is a great place for special dinners, receptions, and small parties.

Dr. Hazel Kelley Wilson Banquet Hall

A beautiful banquet space that can hold 380 banquet style and 600 theatre style. Perfect to intimate dinners or distinquished lectures. Recent additions to the space, is brand new tables and and chairs (not pictured), which really bring the space to life.

Buffalo Room

This quaint reception room is perfect for luncheons, small weddings or baby showers. It is attached to the Isley Terrace. So with your rental you get to enjoy this beautiful garden space as well.

Isley Terrace

Isley Terrace is a beautiful private garden space. Perfect for outdoor parties, wedding receptions and tailgates. The Terrace is attached the the Buffalo Room, which can be used for indoor seating or food stations for your Terrace event.

Legacy Hall

Legacy Hall provides a space to hold multiple types of events. Whether a fair, banquet, conference, or entertainment event; the possibilities are endless. With a curtain to cut the room in half, smaller groups can use this beautiful space and still feel comfortable. The room is capable of holding 500 guests in banquet style and 700 in theater style. Legacy Hall Foyer

The space is great for receptions of 150 people or less. Lots of seating is available while providing a very relaxing environment.

JBK Kitchen

Available for groups with an approved food request, this is a great place to organize meals for your event. Rental charges may apply.
