"Personal Selling..."is an often understated subject in the business arena. The purpose and mission of this course is to expose you to the concepts and importance of personal sales in business. Personal Selling is an important part of the marketing function...think of it as the connection between the client or customer and the firm.

Welcome to Marketing 3346, Personal Selling. The next few weeks we will be examining at length the role and processes of personal selling and it's place in the business world, as well as society.

In almost every facet of our lives, we are "selling" something. Whether it be products or ideas, by our very nature we are at times selling. Good salespeople can be the heartbeat of a successful firm. Throughout this course we will examine just why we care to study and understand a salesforce and find things one can do to be more successful with the selling experience.
