The Student Conduct Process

The Office of Community Standards facilitates the Student Conduct Process to hold student's accountable for violations of the WTAMU Student Handbook

Student Learning Outcomes

Through the Conduct Process, students will be able to:

  • Evaluate their personal responsibilities for their conduct.
  • Differentiate any incongruence between their values and their actions.
  • Identify skills required for self-efficacy.
  • Articulate how their behavior affected, or could affect, others.
  • Evaluate the impact their decisions have on their academic and personal success.
  • Identify ways to maintain a positive mindset, while working through temporary setbacks.
  • Define the acceptable behavior that is required of them while they are part of the University community.
  • Recognize skills, strategies, and resources that are likely to assist them in avoiding future violations of the Student Handbook.

Student Conduct Communication

The Office of Community Standards may reach out to you during the Student Conduct process. All correspondence will be sent to your WT email through our Student Conduct software, Maxient.

Communications that come from our office to your WT email will look like this:

You will click on "Pick up your letter" and it will take you to this page:

You can submit your Student ID number which will allow you to view the Letter from our office.
