National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA)
West Texas A&M University was approved as a participant in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) in 2015, and is and is administered by the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB.). "The State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement is a voluntary agreement among its member states and U.S. territories that establishes comparable national standards for interstate offering of postsecondary distance-education courses and programs. It is intended to make it easier for students to take online courses offered by postsecondary institutions based in another state." -NC-SARA

Professional Licensure
By law, West Texas A&M University is required to notify current and potential students about the University’s ability to meet licensure requirements in a state. If planning to gain a degree that may lead to a professional licensure or certification, we encourage students to reach out to the state and licensing agency in which the license will be held to ensure acceptance from our programs.

In addition, national and state licensing board information is included. Programs approved to be offered online are specified with an asterisk (*).
