The Sybil B. Harrington College of Fine Arts and Humanities fosters thought, artistry, and culture as integral to the human experience. In the arts and humanities, we empower students through dynamic and transformative learning. We enhance the quality of life in our communities and cultivate belonging and forward-thinking citizens, educators, scholars, and artists.

Accreditation

West Texas A&M University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges or SACSCOC, a regional agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. This is the highest accreditation a university can receive and signifies that WTAMU has "a purpose appropriate to higher education and the resources, programs and services sufficient to accomplish and sustain that purpose."
