Graduate Business Healthcare Management Program Earns National Ranking
CANYON, Texas—The healthcare management concentration of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at West Texas A&M University has been recognized as one of the top programs, according to the latest rankings released by Top Management Degrees.
The M.B.A. with a concentration in healthcare management was ranked No. 5 in the 2015 rankings of online Master’s in Healthcare Management degree programs. Schools were ranked based on reputation, faculty credentials, student services and engagement, course delivery technology, admissions selectivity, prestigious national awards, student satisfaction and tuition costs. The data was derived from the most recent and publicly available sources, including U.S. News & World Report, The Princeton Review and the National Center for Education and Statistics.
WTAMU’s current enrollment in the MBA health care management program is 48 students. The flexible program allows students to complete all degree requirements on campus, online or a combination of the campus and online environments. The program is geared to working professionals with at least two years of work experience in the health care field. Enrichment elective courses include options in healthcare economics, healthcare finance, information technology in the healthcare environment, healthcare management, healthcare law and business communication for healthcare managers.
