In response to family hardships of COVID 19, WTAMU is waiving the application fee through May 31, 2020.
Please use the WTAMU Graduate School Application and select “fee waiver” for your payment type.
WT graduate students may also be eligible to receive federal need-based aid and are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To see if you qualify, visit studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.
Once you have prepared your application materials and you're ready to apply, you should begin submitting your online graduate school application and application materials. If at any time you have questions concerning the application process or submission of materials, please contact us.
Submit the Graduate School Application
First, you should complete and submit your application to the Graduate School. To do so, you should complete only one of the following applications:
The WTAMU Graduate School Application
- or -
The Texas Common Application (Choose to apply using the Grad U.S. application)
NOTE: International applicants should apply to Graduate School through the International Student Office
Applications for graduate admissions require a non-refundable application fee ($40)
Submit Transcripts
To complete your application package, official transcripts are needed from every post-secondary institution you have attended. Applicants must hold a bachelor or masters degree from a regionally accredited institution. Contact the previous institutions you have attended and have them mail your official transcripts to:

Unofficial documents may be emailed to the Graduate School.
Transcripts must be mailed or emailed via a transcript clearinghouse from the respective schools to the Graduate School. Opened transcripts or scanned transcripts sent by the student are considered unofficial.
Permanent residents and domestic students who have attended foreign institutions will need to submit a Foreign Credential Evaluation through one of our seven approved foreign credential evaluators.
Submit Program Admissions Documents
To complete your admissions package, you will need to send in any remaining documents as specified by the program to which you are applying.
