Professional Profile
Dr. Gregory joined the Terry B. Rogers College of Education and Social Sciences in 2023. She received both her B.S. in psychology in 2004 and her Specialist in School Psychology (S.S.P) in 2007 from West Texas A&M University, and her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a specialization in School Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2023. Prior to her position at WTAMU, Dr. Gregory served children and families in public education for 12 years. She is a School Psychologist and a Licensed Psychologist in Texas.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Gregory teaches undergraduate and graduate-level courses in the Psychology program and serves as the program coordinator for the School Psychology graduate program. She also serves as a member of the Behavioral Health Workforce Initiative (BHWI) and on several department, college, and university committees.
Dr. Gregory is a member of the Texas Association of School Psychologists (TASP), the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), the Trainers of School Psychologists (TSP), and the Social Emotional Learning Alliance for Texas (SEL4TX). Starting in January 2027, Dr. Gregory will serve as the President of TASP for 2 years.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Gregory’s research interests include understanding the experiences of rural public educators and students. As a Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT), Dr. Gregory wants to provide services to children and families while expanding research on the implementation and effectiveness of PCIT for families in the Texas Panhandle.
Dr. Gregory is not currently accepting graduate students for research mentorship.
