Professional Profile
Dr. Johnson joined the College of Education and Social Sciences in 2024 after working in elementary education for 23 years. She received her Bachelor of General Studies from WTAMU in 1997, a Master of Science in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Gifted and Talented from the University of North Texas in 2017, and earned a Doctorate of Educational Psychology with a specialization in Gifted and Talented from the University of North Texas in 2024.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Johnson teaches Educational Psychology, Educational Methods, and Educational Readiness.
Dr. Johnson holds an elementary Texas Educator Certificate with additional certifications to teach English as a Second Language, Gifted and Talented, and Health. She is a member of the National Association of Gifted Children (NAGC) and the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT).
