Preface

1. This is a tutorial to help you build a quiz. Yes, I realize this tutorial is static. Yes, it's text-heavy. Yes, it's unappealing. Yes, the images are small, but you'll probably want to have two windows open. On the first window, you'll be making your quiz. This tutorial will be the second window. You don't need to see my images because you'll have a full-size one that you are working with. You can even make this tutorial window narrower so you have more room for the first.

2. Angel LMS has two types of quizzes: a Quiz and an Assessment. Angel is pushing for the Assessment to be the testing tool. An Assessment is a Quiz on steroids but, just as in real life, there are some side effects. The same template is used for both an Assessment and a Quiz. You can convert a Quiz to an Assessment, but you cannot change an Assessment to a Quiz. We'll make a Quiz first so that you will understand the principles.

3. The pages are long, but there's a vertical scroll bar on the right side. Click the back button to escape or go to the bottom of the page for the links to the next section or back to the Index page.

4. If you don't have time for the tutorial, here's a brief version of how to get a Quiz started.
