Statement

University information systems shall prohibit remote activation of collaborative computing devices unless approved by information technology.

Applicability

This Control applies to all West Texas A&M network information resources. The intended audience for this Control includes all information resource owners, custodians, and users of information resources.

Implementation

• Remote access to campus resources shall require approval from a campus user prior to remote access being granted.
• Remote access shall provide an explicit indication of use to users physically present at the collaborative computing device.
