Statement

Information Resource access is revoked upon termination of employment within 24 hours.

Applicability

This Control applies to all West Texas A&M network information resources. The intended audience for this Control includes all information resource owners, custodians, and users of information resources.

Implementation

The University, upon termination of individual employment disables information system access within 24 hours.  The Human Resources department shall contact ISO immediately to ensure user access to systems is disabled. The University conducts exit interviews retrieves all security-related organizational information system-related property and retains access to organizational information and information systems formerly controlled by terminated individual through a checkout process that require departmental and employing departmental signoff.
