  WTAMU faculty, staff, and students qualify to receive a free license of Office 365 for personal use.

- Open DNS

Statement

WTAMU approves and monitors nonlocal maintenance and diagnostic activities.

Applicability

This Control applies to all West Texas A&M network information resources. The intended audience for this Control includes all information resource owners, custodians, and users of information resources.

Implementation

The information resource owner or their designee is responsible for the following:

Approval of nonlocal maintenance and diagnostic activities
Allow the use of nonlocal maintenance and diagnostic tools that are consistent with policy and documented in the security plan for the information system
Employing strong authenticators in the establishment of nonlocal maintenance and diagnostic sessions
Maintain records for nonlocal maintenance and diagnostic activities
Terminate sessions and network connections when nonlocal maintenance is completed
