Statement

West Texas A&M University will conduct proper contingency plan testing for information systems as needed.

Applicability

This Control applies to all West Texas A&M network information resources. The intended audience for this Control includes all information resource owners, custodians, and users of information resources.

Implementation

• Appropriate testing of the contingency plan will be conducted at least annually.
• At least once every three (3) years on-premise mission critical systems shall be tested with a full interruption.
• A formal report detailing the results will be prepared including lessons learned. Updates to the plan that are needed will be made at that time.
