Statement

West Texas A&M University information systems must allocate audit record storage capacity and configure auditing to reduce the likelihood of such capacity being exceeded.

Applicability

This Control applies to all West Texas A&M network information resources. The intended audience for this Control includes all information resource owners, custodians, and users of information resources.

Implementation

Information systems shall ensure that logs are transmitted to a centralized log server or there is sufficient storage capacity on the local server or system to retain at least 90 days of logs.
