Professional Profile

Jesse McIntyre joined the Sports and Exercise Science department in the Fall of 2018. He received a BS in Clinical Athletic Training from Oklahoma State University in May 2015. He then went on to receive an MEd from East Central University in December 2016 and an MS in Exercise Science from the University of North Georgia in May 2018.

Teaching and Related Service

Jesse McIntyre teaches within the Athletic Training Program while serving as the athletic trainer for WT Men’s Basketball.

Jesse is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) as well as the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Research and Creative Activity

Jesse is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Athletic Training from A.T. Still University, with a focus on increasing efficiency in evaluation and rehabilitation as well as increasing leadership and professionalism as an athletic trainer. Jesse’s personal research interests range from myofascial therapy to bridging the gap between rehab and athletic performance.

Personal Sketch

Jesse is from Stillwater, Oklahoma and now lives in Amarillo. As a proud alumnus of Oklahoma State, Jesse finds as much time as he can to return to Stillwater or watch Cowboy sports from a distance.
