The historic Nance Ranch is a 2,400 acre working ranch where students get hands on experience with livestock, farming, environmental studies, and even wildlife.

The Cross Bar Ranch, north of Amarillo, is managed by West Texas A&M University for the Bureau of Land Management and is a 34,000 acre wildlife research preserve that WT students have access to.

The WTAMU Virtual Math Lab web site is an internationally recognized resource for students who need help with math. The site had over 700,000 hits in the first quarter of 2007.

The WTAMU Horse Center houses an internationally recognized academic program centered on the business of horses and provides students a venue to enjoy their passion.

The Nance Ranch Feedyard is the most advanced experimental feedyard in the world and home to cutting edge research for the beef cattle industry.
