The National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students organizes National Transfer Student Week to celebrate transfer students and the professionals who support them. WTAMU is happy to be a part of this year's celebration. We understand the value that transfer students bring to the campus, and want to make sure they understand this as well.

  • Before They Were Buffs - bring your marker/pen and come by the Student Success Center to add your name and previous institutions to our Transfer Buffalo! Not on campus? Email transfer@wtamu.edu and we will add your information.

  • Transfer Student Sweepstakes - Complete a short survey at https://wtamuuw.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9SSMscyVr7QhDy5 that will place you in a drawing to win a $500 scholarship for the Spring 2021 semester provided by WTAMU Scholarship Services (two scholarships will be awarded), as well as other prizes. You will also have the opportunity to recognize a WT faculty or staff member as a Transfer Champion - someone who has been an advocate for you and/or assisted in your transition to WTAMU.

  • Sweet Sipz - Be one of the first 100 transfer students to come by the Transfer Services area and visit with a Transfer Ambassador to receive a $2 voucher to Sweet Sipz. We are located in the cubicles across the hall from Career Services on the first floor of the Classroom Center.

  • Social Media Challenge:

    Join the transfer student celebration by participating in our social media challenge! At the conclusion of the competition, there will be a drawing for $25 BuffCash. Here's how you can be entered to win:
    1. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram.
