General THEA and ACCUPLACER Information

WTAMU > Virtual Math Lab > THEA/ACCUPLACER

desk Introduction

Sometimes, the questions that I get from students are not math questions but questions pertaining to general information about the THEA or ACCUPLACER.  For example, where do I go to take the test, when do I need to take it, how much does it cost to take the test, etc.

If this is your first visit to our website, please read the disclaimer.

The following are some helpful links to websites that can answer your questions about general THEA or ACCUPLACER information.

This website is put together by the National Evaluation Systems.  It is the official website for the THEA test.  It can lead to such information as how to register, test dates, a THEA practice test, and a study guide order form.  It is a really good source on general information on the THEA test.

The STARR Center is a department at West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) that has full time academic advisors.  One of the many things this department oversees is the advising and registration of all THEA affected prospective and currently enrolled students.

If you do not or are not planning to go to WTAMU, you may want to check with your school to see if they have a department that can give you the latest THEA information.

Testing Services at WTAMU is branch of Educational Services.  This is where WTAMU students can go to take the THEA test.  If you need information about when and how the THEA test will be administered at WTAMU, this is the place to check out.
