Dr. Tim Elmore is the Founder and President of Growing Leaders, a non-profit organization created to develop emerging leaders. He and his team equip high school and college students on thousands of campuses across the US and around the world to think and act like authentic leaders.
Since founding Growing Leaders, Dr. Elmore has spoken to more than 500,000 students and staff on hundreds of campuses across the country, including Stanford University, Duke University, Purdue, Auburn University, University of North Carolina, Georgia Tech, and Baylor University. Tim has also taught courses on leadership and mentoring at nine universities and graduate schools across the U.S. and provided leadership training and resources for the National FFA Organization and major athletic programs, including the University of Alabama, Auburn University, University of Texas, Virginia Tech and the San Francisco Giants.
Tim’s expertise on the emerging generation and generational diversity in the workplace has led to media coverage in The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com, and The Washington Post. He has also appeared on CNN’s Headline News and Fox and Friends to discuss Generation iY.
Dr. Elmore has written more than 32 books, including the best-selling Generation iY: Our Last Chance to Save Their Future, Habitudes®: Images that Form Leadership Habits and Attitudes, Life Giving Mentors, and Nurturing the Leader Within Your Child, Artificial Maturity: Helping Kids Meet the Challenge of Becoming Authentic Adults.
