Where did the name came from? It's a tip of the hat to the Pippa statue, which is on loan from the Panhandle Plains museum for display in the library's first floor atrium. Pippa is the namesake character in the long dramatic poem Pippa Passes by Robert Browning. The best know line in the poem is God's in his Heaven/All's right with the world!
