What is HLC?
An organization of public, college, and school libraries located in the Texas panhandle. Participating libraries:
- Share a common catalog,
- Check-out books to anyone with a card from any HLC library,
- Check-out books to anyone with a TexShare card, and
- Require that books be returned to the library system that owns them.

How do I get a card?
- Live in one of the communities listed below? Go to that library and apply for a card.
- Live in the residence halls? Go to the Circulation Desk and apply for a TexShare card.
