What do you like most about working in the Cornette Library? Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with and meet several amazing people. It has been, and continues to be, a great experience. It's nice to work in an environment where you don't dread coming to work and actually enjoy what you do.

What is your favorite book(s)/author? I have read most of Stephen King's books (my favorite probably being The Stand. I read a lot of mysteries. It really just depends on my mood. Right now I am reading science fiction.

What is your favorite local attraction? I really don't know if I have a favorite. I enjoy going to the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum and visiting Palo Duro Canyon. There are movies, plays, and concerts to see. How can I pick only one? I guess my favorite attraction is just being able to do these things with my family and friends.

Rules to live by: Don't feel sorry for yourself. Get up, dust off, and go on with life.

You might be surprised to know that I:I am in the video Plutonium Circus. It is part of the library's VHS collection. I had no idea I was in it until Paul Coleman (Library Director at the time) told me. My husband David and daughter Jennifer are also in it...Oh, by the way, we were filmed while clogging at the Big Texan.
