Raise Your Steins Buffs, It's Buff-toberfest.

Homecoming 2016 will be a German getaway on the WT campus. We’ll have a few new homecoming events, plus all of your favorites. Authentic food, great vendors, biergarten and of course, plenty of WT homecoming fun.

Saturday, Oct. 1

  • "Let's Remember Kimbrough" PPHM Exhibit
    Oct. 1-8 | Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum
    Enjoy this spirited Homecoming Week exhibit of favorite photos of Kimbrough Memorial Stadium memories. For more info visit panhandleplains.org.
  • Work-A-Thon “Paint the Town Maroon”
    8 –11 a.m. | Pedestrian Mall
    Roll up your sleeves and pitch in alongside dozens of Buff groups and organizations to clean up the Pedestrian Mall and decorate the campus for Homecoming.

  • Make it Maroon
    6 p.m. | Cadillac Ranch
    Join us at the world famous Cadillac Ranch to show your Buff spirit and paint the cars maroon. Students wishing to carpool meet at Buff Courts Alumni Center no later than 5:15 p.m.
  • Lady Buff Soccer vs. Eastern New Mexico
    7 p.m. | Buffalo Sports Park, The Pitch
    Lady Buff soccer will play for the win against Eastern New Mexico.
  • John Rush: The Human iPod
    9 p.m. | Jack B. Kelley Student Center, Legacy Hall
    Write down a song request, crumple it up, throw it on stage and John Rush might play it for you. Sponsored by Residential Hall Association and the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership.

    Fees – Individual Entry - $75.00, Team Entry fee - $300.00
    Entry fee includes green fee, golf cart, Homecoming classic pullover, one raffle ticket for a chance to win merchandise, a meal and other great prizes.
