Bynum joined the West Texas A&M University staff as senior development officer for the College of Agriculture, Science and Engineering in June 2007. He formerly served as senior leadership consultant for Phi Delta Theta International Fraternity in Oxford, Ohio.
As senior development officer, Bynum oversees the major gift and development efforts of the College of Agriculture, Science and Engineering and its four departments.
Bynum earned a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business and economics from WTAMU in 2005.
Bynum and his wife Charlotte ’00 reside in Amarillo and have a daughter, Cale. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Amarillo Education Foundation and the WTAMU Agriculture Development Association. He is a member of the Canyon Rotary Club, the Amarillo Area Phi Delta Theta Alumni Club and Central Church of Christ.
