“Chili, Music, and Life”
7th Annual Phi Delta Theta Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association Benefit - Chilifest
The men of the Texas Theta Chapter of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at West Texas A&M University will host the 7th Annual Phi Delta Theta ALS Association Benefit Chilifest at noon on April 12 at the Thundering Buffalo’s Grill & Saloon in Canyon, Texas.
The chapter has donated over $30K in the Texas Panhandle through this event and they are looking to donate another $10K at this year’s event.
Phi Delta Theta has a unique partnership with The ALS Association in honor of Phi Delta Theta member and baseball great, Lou Gehrig, who passed away from ALS, now commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The mission of The ALS Association is to lead the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy while also empowering people with Lou Gehrig’s disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support. Each year, thousands of dollars are raised for The ALS Association through the efforts of Phi Delta Theta members. The Fraternity encourages all of its chapters to connect with their local chapter of The ALS Association.
Come enjoy live music (Seven Miles South), all you can eat chili, a Pie-A-Phi booth, and a silent auction all in one place!
