Teri Bingham, Ed.D. Associate Professor of Education Office: Old Main, Room 439 Email: tbingham@wtamu.edu Phone: 651-2606 Professional Profile Dr. Bingham has been teaching at WTAMU for 18 years and has received numerous teaching excellence awards and honors. She received her Ed.D. from UCLA and her doctorate degree is in teaching effectiveness with an emphasis in learner behaviors and teacher behaviors. Teaching and Related Service Dr. Bingham teaches Educational Psychology, Elementary Math Methods, Educational Foundations and Classroom Management. She also serves as the coordinator for the professional development courses. Dr. Bingham also provides staff development services for districts in the Panhandle. Research and Creative Activity Dr. Bingham's research agenda includes diversity issues, math edublogs used in the EC-8 classroom, the impact of teacher expectations on college students, using childrens' literature in teaching mathematics, and ELL education programs. Personal Sketch Dr. Bingham is married to Scott Bingham and they have three school-age children. They live in Canyon where the children attend Canyon public schools. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling to visit friends and family. |
