He received a B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in Information Systems in 2003 and a Master of Information Systems Management in 2004 from Brigham Young University. In 2009, he received a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Arizona State University. Teaching and Related Service Dr. Keith teaches a variety of topics in Information Systems with a current focus on systems analysis and design, web application development, and business intelligence. Dr. Keith’s recent research has appeared in the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, the International Journal of Human-Computer Studies, and INFORMS Decision Analysis as well as book chapters and conference proceedings. Dr. Keith is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), and the Institute for operations research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS). He also serves on various program committees for information systems related conferences. Research and Creative Activity Dr. Keith’s primary research interests include the application of the service-oriented paradigm to systems development lifecycles, the impacts of software methodologies on knowledge coordination and social networks. He also researches cross-disciplinary topics such as the impacts of switching costs on consumer loyalty to IT products and the effects of e-collaboration on group decision-making. His recent publications have also covered the topics of information retrieval and IT security mechanisms. |
